Beautify America…get a haircut

My barber Steve Reedy went to Hawaii recently. When it was time for my haircut, he was still on vacation. I was between haircuts from the end of July until the beginning of October.

“Why not get someone else to cut your hair?” I can’t. In my estimation, I spent my entire life with bad hair until I met my barber Steve Reedy. I can’t regress to Supercuts. Even when I’m overdue for my barber to cut my hair, it still looks better than any Supercuts haircut I’ve had in the past.

Finally he arrived back from Hawaii. I was almost twitching when I showed up for my appointment. It took him an hour to make sense of the hair that had grown out. Yet he did make sense of it. Somehow every time I get a haircut I immediately lose weight as well. I don’t know how it happens, but after my hair gets cut I look more physically fit.

Although this post isn’t particularly relevant to what’s going on in the rest of my life (still no telephone/internet/cable t.v. at home, working way too hard, not writing or e-mailing nearly enough, watching more television shows on Netflix than films), it’s still appropriate because the name of the blog is “Island of Hair”.
